The village of Ribaritsa, could be located 13 km east of Teteven at the bosom Stara Planina. Ribaritsa is a popular mountain village straddling the babbling river Vit. There is daily bus service running between Ribarica and Teteven. Walks and cycling routes are heading southwest up to Kostina valley. East of Ribaritsa, the main road climbs out of the Vit valley and crosses the hills towards Troyan, some 40km away. it is another scenic route by car or bike taking in heath-covered moorland and deep forest. although no buses pass this way.
