KAPITAN ANDREEVO » The village of Kapitan Andreevo is the major Bulgarian check-point at the border with Turkey. It is situated in southeast Bulgaria, 15 km away from Svilengrad, 19 km from the Turkish town of Edirne and 340 km from Sofia. The check-point has a high rate of traffic as it is connecting Europe with Turkey, Syria and Iran.
