LEVSKI - Bulgaria » The town of Levski is located in the valley of the Osam River in central northern Bulgaria. It is situated in the southern part of Pleven province, 215 km from Sofia. Once in town, tourists can visit the art gallery in the house-museum Georgi Partsalev with 180 paintings and sculptures and the monument of the Bulgarian national hero Vasil Levski. Levski is an important transport junction as the main roads Sofia-Varna and Sofia-Rousse pass through it. Interesting historical sights can be visited in the nearby villages of Malchika, Izgrev and Stezherovo.
