For the time being Timisoara was a part from the Habsburg Empire and its present day architecture was strongly influenced by the Kiser era. Timisoara is know to be the first city in Europe to use the street electric lamps. Places worth to visit in Timisoara are The Orthodox Cathedral, The Dome, The Huniade Castle.
